What you will do
- Monitor the health and performance of Jump's trading platform.
- Troubleshoot system, software, and network problems.
- Design and optimise network infrastructure for low-latency applications across global data centres.
- Build production automation.
- Coordinate changes and incidents with trading and risk teams.
- Manage operational risk and change control.
- Document technical processes.
What Jump looks for
- Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Linux or UNIX experience, including shell scripting.
- Practical Python knowledge.
- Understanding of routing, multicast, Ethernet, and related networking concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication under pressure.
- Reliable and predictable availability.
No finance or economics background is required.
