About the opportunity

What you will work on

  • FPGA and systems design for ultra-low-latency trading applications.
  • Networking, high-performance computing, and real-time acceleration.
  • Hardware acceleration for trading, machine learning, and other algorithms.

What Jump looks for

  • Undergraduate or graduate study in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • FPGA, hardware, or systems-design experience.
  • RTL experience in SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
  • Previous hardware or low-level software internship experience.
  • C, C++, and/or Python.
  • Reliable and predictable availability.

Useful experience: CocoTB, Chisel, Bluespec, OpenCores, lowRISC/RISC-V, HLS or OpenCL, CPU/GPU or microprocessor work, Linux kernel or driver development, robotics, telecommunications, high-speed networking, Raspberry Pi or Arduino, computer architecture, digital design, verification, and Claude Code.
